Training Program
We conducted the training programmes for various aspects of Watershed development Program. The initial trainings of watershed association watershed committee for working procedure, account keeping, reporting office settings, SHG formation, U.G. Formation, Bank linkages etc. for each watershed and SHG.
The following training programs were conducted:
Training on agriculture development
We associated scientists from BAU, Krisi Vigyan Kendra, Chianki and Dist. Agriculture Dept. for training at various levels on dry land farming, dry land horticulture development, vegetable cultivation, Rabi and Khareef Crops, Oil seed cultivation etc.
Training on organic farming
We conducted training on use of organic insecticides, pesticides herbicides, preparation of vermin compost and aspect through NADEP methods in our villages. The resource persons from BAU, Ranchi and Daltonganj conducted these training's in different clusters.
Training on Women Empowerment
We initiated trainings to our women SHG on various programmes of income generation such as Soap and Detergent Making, Agarbatti making, Papad, Barry, Mixture Making, Mini Dal Mill operation , Rope making, Pattal Making, Lac processing etc. Some of the groups have initiated and linked to the bank and other schemes of DRDA.
We tried to empower our groups on inter loaning, thrift and credit and proper accounting through series of trainings from formation to operations and income generation. These groups are functioning because of these trainings.
We are training and promoting the fuel saving programmes through reflector chulhas and other low most agricultural implements like maize Sheller etc.
